The Lexus division of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., recently reported strong April sales, with a 29.3 percent increase versus the same month a year ago Colorado Springs Lexus dealer, Stevinson Lexus of Lakewood announced.

Lexus sold 18,359 vehicles, with passenger car sales headed by the ES entry luxury sedan with 9,901 units sold for a 23.9 percent increase. Light trucks were meanwhile led by the RX with 8,458 units sold for a 19.5 percent increase.

Also showing growth were the IS luxury sedan with 2,701 units sold, an increase of 16.2 percent, and the HS luxury hybrid with 1,076 units sold.
